Apollo Beach, Florida USA

Apollo Beach is just north of the Canaveral National Seashore in New Smyrna Beach. It’s just one of many top attractions to visit when you are on vacation in this area, and a day exploring this beach will be a lot of fun.

Something you might find interesting is that there are parts of Apollo Beach which are designated as a nude beach. Nudity is only allowed south of the most northern parking lot labeled 5. This is the very end of the beach, and there are signs that will let you know when you’re about to enter the nude part for this beach, which also happens to be close to cliff side.

The Canaveral National Seashore is known to have some of the most beautiful beaches in New Smyrna Beach. Apollo Beach, which is one of the more secluded beaches, should be on your to-do list when you‘re visiting New Smyrna.

On Apollo Beach, the shimmering water and white sand meet to create a beautiful waterfront. It’s also home to America’s third largest surf break! The water is stunning but there is the possibility for rough waters. If you decide to jump in be mindful of the waves & currents.

When looking up directions or using a GPS, you will want to be careful that you don’t end up at the wrong beach: the city of Apollo on the west coast of Florida. Though there is also a beach near New Smyrna Beach called Apollo Beach.

We know the beach will fill up fast, so it’s important to start setting up your day really early. It’s great because it’ll give you plenty of time to play outside and have a relaxing day. Once the parking lot fills up, however, we won’t be letting anyone else in – so don’t be left behind

It’s also several hundred yards from the parking lot to the beach area. This means that anything you plan to bring should be carried in.

Anyone over 16 years old will have to pay $3 for entrance to Apollo Beach. The shore is open from 6am-8pm during the summer, and until 6pm during the winter.

You can find restrooms at Apollo Beach, but virtually nothing else. Come prepared with water, snacks, and anything else you think you may need for your day on the beach.
